Breathtakingly beautiful

While still in accordance with her rule to never buy a calendar until after the new year, Kristen picked me up this beauty.
I thought it was pretty sweet of her, I love it, and it makes me laugh every time I look at it.

How I remember West Virginia:

When I'm not pointing out where they obviously had to photoshop a trailer out of the scene or the removal of a sewage pipe emptying directly into a pristine and clear creek, I just laugh and enjoy a little nostalgic trip.

West Virginia really gets a pretty bad rap. It is simply gorgeous and easily the most laid back and hospitable state in the union. (Except for one glaring exception. You know who you are and what you did.)

This calender has had two extreme side effects, namely an increase in the telling of funny mission stories and the acute desire to go back now that I will have time to just sightsee.
