Or that M.U.L.E.?

My grandma and grandpa gave me some money in celebration of my recent graduation. Mom said I should take it and spend it on something fun and frivolous. Here is where I am most likely to spend that money:

On the wagon? Or off the wagon?

I'm back on the sauce.

I drank my first coke during Easter dinner. Mostly just to see if I still like it......and I do!

I never realized the strain not buying coke caused on many of my relationships especially with my favorite coke retailer: 7-11 Raj.

Tonight I stopped in 7-11 to purchase some toilet paper (TMI?) and Raj exclaimed, "Hey man! Where have you been? You don't buy coke anymore."
I explained that I had stopped drinking coke for the time being and that since I may be leaving Utah sometime soon, that my coke purchasing may be limited.
His parting words: "Well man, it is always good to see you and anytime you're in Provo, you come and buy a coke."

I will Raj and I'm sure you'll still try to peddle me your day old donuts....just like the old days.

Optimism

I spend most of my days now studying about war, its methods and its weapons.
We've been learning about landmines as of late and I'm more convinced than ever that war is horrifying. I truly believe it is necessary at times, but always horrifying.

Sometimes I have to wonder about my chosen profession and my somewhat gentle demeanor (translation: I'm a softy, especially for cute little animals.)
And then I saw this picture:

I think I can strike a balance.

On a totally separate note, I think this is the happiest dog I have ever seen in my life. But who wouldn't be with a pygmy goat friend.

And if anyone cares, I've got the conclusion of my 3x5 story, but I wanted to put a buffer between the latest installment and the conclusion.
